AU Crystals started the way most small publications do. Someone had a question, no one on the internet seemed willing to answer it carefully, and we decided to try.
What we write
Long, careful pieces on individual stones. Seasonal rituals that trace the moon without asking you to believe anything in particular. Zodiac writing from people who still pull out an ephemeris. And quiet practices for the parts of life that nobody else bothers writing about, like what to keep at your desk or in your car.
We try not to sell you anything in the middle of a sentence. When we recommend a stone, it is because we think it fits the piece. When we mention our shop, we will say so plainly.
How we fact check
- We separate tradition from evidence, and tell you which is which.
- Mineralogy claims are checked against geological references.
- Wellness claims include honest limits and medical disclaimers.
- No AI drafted filler. A human writes, another human edits.
- If we get something wrong, we publish the correction in the open.
The stones themselves
We source slowly. We grade transparently. When our shop opens later this year, our supplier standards will be published alongside it. Until then, the writing is the whole product, and we intend to keep it that way.
